host pc crashing after disconnecting remote desktop

I connect from a laptop with win xpsp2, to computer win xp sp2 using a remote
desktop connection through out LAN, the problem is when I disconnect my
remote connection, the remote user can't log in again on that computer,
because control-alt-delete keys don't work, he has to turn off and on the
computer
any idea?
I don't have this problem with any of my other remote computers

Have you tried logging off versus disconnecting?
