Default Can I "Remote desktop" to a workstation without locking it?

Hi, when I use Remote Desktop to connect to a LAN workstation, I lock that
workstatiion with my account. Is there is way I can remote connect
simultaniously while a user continues his job on a workstation?

Windows XP Professional and unhacked Remote Desktop - that would be a no.
