My desktop is a Win XP Home edition v2002, SP2

When I reach the Control Panel / Performance and Maintenance / System /
Remote tab... only the remote assistance option is available... the Remote
Desktop option does not appear!? thus, can not be activated!

Any clue as of how i can make this option available on my desktop?

PS: I could made the Remote Desktop service permitted through the Windows
Firewall... but still not available through the Window / ... system tab.

XP Home Edition can not act as a Remote Desktop host, therefore what you see
is normal. If you want to remotely access/control your XP Home machine look
at using UltraVNC with its encryption plug-in as an alternative. Get the
server, client and encryption plug-in from...
