Remote desktop inside a LAN

Does XP have a method to connect a PC to another between two computers
inside a LAN ? Like RD but not by messenger ?

Sure, you can use Remote Desktop on a LAN. Simply call the other PC using
its static private LAN IP address. See this page for help with Remote
