Default Cut & Paste problem with RDP

We use Windows XP workstations to connect to a number of remote win2k
servers, every month we run checks on the servers which mean we need to cut /
paste data from log files, event logs etc, after so long we find ourselves
unable to cut / paste any more data, this happens on every XP station, we've
tried clearing the clipboard but even after that when we copy / paste it
pastes either nothing or the previously copied data, not the new data. Are
there any command line utils or ms utils that can purge all clipboard data.

My pc has photoshop isntalled and if I use the purge memory option in that I
can then cut/copy & paste again, obviously we can't go round and install this
on every other pc and we are looking for a way of doing this via XP interface
of cmd line if possible

Thanks

What about Clipboard viewer?

Start, Run 'clipbrd'
Then use the Edit, Delete command.

Does that work?

clear the clipboard, but when we next try to copy / paste it pastes nothing.
We tried running clipboard viewer on the machine we connect to, clearing the
clipboard there and still nol uck I'm afraid
