Default Maximum multiple simultaneous vpn connection?

Does Windows XP Professional support multiple simultaneous vpn connections?
If so, what is the maximum vpn clients it supports?

SOHO with file server running Windows XP Professional. If this machine is
configure to accept incoming connections from two external Windows XP
Professional VPN clients, will it support the connection of these two VPN
clients connecting simultaneously?

Within a workgroup environment, I believe that if supports a maximum of 10
concurrent connections to a folder share. Would this extend to Windows XP
Professional VPN's and imply that the maximum simultaneous VPN connections to
this machine is limited to 10.

As Robert noted XP only supports one incoming VPN connection.

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d...g_cnd_dbem.asp

If you need more then you need to upgrade to a server class OS like Windows
2003 Server or Small Business Server (SBS)...

If you only need secure access to files from a small number of multiple
remote users then Secure Shell (SSH) and WinSCP would work well for that.
Otherwise look at the true server solution...

I forgot to add these links. If your users need to access their individual
XP Pro desktops using Remote Desktop then a SSH tunnel works well for that
also. If the PCs are running XP Home then look at running UltraVNC through
the SSH tunnel...
